The representation of this guy is a projection of your child. It provides insights into how he sees himself, how he represents himself psychically and the image he has of his body. His body image is not yet obvious for him, which explains the few details (a head, an eye ...). In a few months, however, this drawing may reveal a physical peculiarity (big ears for a hearing-impaired child for example ...). No doubt, his man, it's him!
