5 anti-migraine massages: the neck

The neck is an area that is very sensitive to stress and annoyances, often responsible for the crisis.

  • Sitting calm, try these two massages that should chase the tension ... and your migraine.
  • Before you start, rub your neck muscles with the flat of your hands, to warm them up.
  • Place your fingers on either side of your cervical spine (diagram above), and make slow and deep circular pressure in the direction indicated by the arrows (do not press the vertebrae themselves).
  • Place the index and middle finger of your hands on the points (diagram opposite) located at the base of the skull, on both sides of the neck (they form a small hollow). Practice a series of 25 firm presses, then release.
