For about 25 cookies:

  • 125 g of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 g of almond powder
  • 125 g of sugar
  • 220 g of flour
  • 200 g icing sugar
  • Sugar balls

In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar.

Separate the eggs, add the yolks to the dough and whisk to incorporate them (keep an egg white for the frosting).

Pour the flour little by little, then the almond powder while continuing to mix.

Let the dough rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Take it out and spread it out. Cut out shapes with Christmas cookie cutters. Place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Cook about 10 minutes depending on your oven, the biscuits should be lightly browned.

Prepare the icing by mixing the icing sugar with an egg white, the mixture should be thick enough.

Once the cookies are cool, put the icing on top and decorate with the sugar balls. Let it dry for 30 minutes.
