In order to facilitate the first meeting of the brothers and sisters when one of them remains hospitalized after the birth, the association Sparadrap and the association Clepsydre publish a booklet intended for the children but also their parents. (News of the 06/03/13)

  • Premature birth requiring a stay in neonatology, medical problem after birth ... Sometimes a baby does not return home immediately with his parents. A situation sometimes difficult for siblings to understand, eager to meet him. To help parents explain the situation to them, the association Sparadrap and the association Clepsydre publish a booklet "The little brother of Lili was born but he is not at home".
  • This book of 16 pages, aimed at children aged 5 to 8, was created to help seniors express their emotions around this birth and allow them to situate themselves in this new family configuration, through the story of Lili the mouse, whose little brother has been hospitalized since birth. Parents will also find tips for preparing them for a visit to the hospital, a time that can be impressive and distressing.
  • 4,50 €, on sale on www.sparadrap.org

But also…

The association SOS Prema has also devised a book for siblings of children born prematurely and hospitalized. "Lola's little brother has arrived in advance" (48 pages, 14 €) is on sale on www.sosprema.com
